The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League was formed in 1943. In August of 1944 a new professional sport was brought to Green Bay, women's baseball.  The Milwaukee Chicks were having a tough time in Milwaukee, and were looking for a new home.   Did the team make Green Bay home or did the Chicks find another community to roost in? How many teams were there and how long did the league last?  As we get to the end of the baseball season, this is great way to wrap up.
