Enjoy the wonderful world of Eric Carle as we read books, participate in a simple craft and meet the Very Hungry Caterpillar!

This fast-paced show is full of science experiments, comedy, music and audience participation. Steve Belliveau, a dynamic presenter with a B.S.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar will wiggle our way for stories and rhymes about plants, pollinators, and healthy foods.

Ages 3-5. Childcare groups and families can enjoy simple stories, action songs, fingerplays, rhymes, and other interactive fun that lays the foundation for later learning to read.

Location: Veterans Memorial Park shelter, Wisconsin Ave., Denmark.  

Program hosts Cindy Lee of De Pere Parks & Rec and Public Health Nurse Sara Lornson introduce De Pere Police Officer Tyler Dawson and his K9 partners, Tony. Learn about these community helpers and watch Tony demonstrate his searching skills.

Enjoy a splash of stories, rhymes and songs indoors at 10:00 am and meet Rover Reader.

Need help but don't know where to start?  Each week, a different community resource/social service agency will be on-site to provide information about their programs and services.  Stop in each week to get connected and find the support

Drop in during the hour to create your own glow-in-the-dark firefly using beads. A museum educator will guide you through this ten minute activity that explores the science behind this remarkable insect.

Evening edition of our family storytime offered the third Monday evening each month.

Learn all about the beautiful world of bugs featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Drop in at the library's Cellcom Children's Edible Garden where a Master Gardener is on hand to give you an informal tour, share advice about gardening, and/or guide you in harvesting any fresh veggies and herbs that are ready to pick.

Logan Lasee, Assistant Naturalist at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve, shares information about bird watching and bird migration.
