Reading is more fun with friends- and this summer you can read to a furry friend!  Find Pearl, a certified service Golden Retriever and her handler, Kelly, in the Children's Area.

Stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities will help build a foundation for early literacy through print, letter recognition, word awareness and creativity. Children will be ready for future success in school with storytime fun!

Location: Veterans Memorial Park shelter, Wisconsin Ave., Denmark.  

The Great Lakes Search and Rescue will be joining Cindy Lee of Parks and Rec and Public Health Nurse Sara Lornson to teach kids about these important community helpers.

Help your child get ready to read with hands-on activities designed to promote early literacy skills.  Learn through play while we explore with baskets, boxes and buckets. Meet Spot from Eric Hill's classic books. Ages 3-5

The ADRC of Brown County will provide a meal from the Grounded Cafe to adults age 60+, as well as their spouse, regardless of age. All individuals under the age of 60 are welcom to join us for lunch at the full cost of $11.35.

Try out writing prompts and techniques including Line-A-Day, pass-back and Wreck this Journal. We'll provide blank journals (or bring your own) and art supplies including sophisticated stickers, washi tape, binder clips, art pens and more.
