This fourth annual event features education and fun for adults and kids! 

Learn about successful seed starting including the "seed snail" technique, which involves rolling soil and seeds in a strip of material as a way to successfully propagate more seeds in a compact space.

Hear about different types of salads and dressings you can make with fresh herbs and produce from your garden. Includes a demonstration, samples, recipes and nutritional values. 

All ages can get advice on growing and selecting blue ribbon-quality veggies, fruits and flowers — to enter in the Brown County Fair or to show off to family and friends.

Find out about the Northeastern Wisconsin Pollinator Corridor, the Neighbors for Nature native plant giveaway, and how you can support butterflies, bees and other essential pollinators in your own yard.

Help your child get ready to read with hands-on activities designed to promote early literacy skills. Learn through play with balance rocks, activity cards, hopscotch, and more! Ages 3-5

Drop in to the Teen Zone and explore creative writing stations that feature activities like blackout poetry, picture prompt challenges, and props including mystery boxes and storytelling dice.

Create an eye-catching design using pins and string to connect the dots into a work of art! Choose from several designs. All supplies provided.

For grades 6-12.

Drop in and have fun exploring sticker stations. Create a sticker scene, make a card full of stickers, and so much more! For all ages.

Create paper-based forms of self-expression. Ages 11-18

Children from birth to four years and caregivers create their own pieces of take-home art. We provide the supplies; you supply the creativity. Get as messy, or stay as neat, as you'd like. 

Celebrate National Poetry Month with blackout poetry! Create your own poetry in this low pressure and simple activity that can result in surprisingly meaningful art.
