Drop in at the library for this all-ages event that will teach you all about summer squash and zucchini and lots of fun ways to prepare it! 

  • Grow: Learn from a Master Gardener in the Children's Edible Garden
  • Taste: Chef Selena Darrow from the local nonprofit, Rooted In Inc., will demonstrate a variety of ways to prepare and cook it. Get recipes, tasty samples and free squash to take home with you.
  • Learn: Discover all the amazing health benefits of squash. 
  • Read: Squish in some related storytime fun at 10:30 and 11:30 am.
