Event Details

Help clean seeds for the Brown County Seed Library and improve the process!

This unique event focuses specifically on cleaning seeds grown or collected to share through the Brown County Seed Library — and we’d love your help!

We’ll test our new seed cleaning screens to find the best techniques for each seed type. As we go, we’ll document what works best to help create a smoother process for future cleaning events.

This is a hands-on opportunity to:

  • Learn how seeds are cleaned and prepared for sharing
  • Try out different tools and methods
  • Contribute to the long-term success of our community seed library.

Whether you're new to seed saving or have experience to share, your help makes a difference!

Children can participate under the supervision of their adult participant.

Led by Northeastern Wisconsin Master Gardeners.
