Do you have a high schooler or are you a high school student yourself 15 to 18 years of age that would like to experience a new culture and study abroad? AFS Intercultural Exchange Programs is a non profit organization with over 75 years of experience. AFS offers 2 week programs, summer programs, semester programs or year programs. Live with a host family and attend school learning about the world through an immersive exchange experience. It is an opportunity of a lifetime to become more globally aware and ready to make a difference in our world.

Presented by Kim Thompson, local educator, AFS representative and host.

AFS Intercultural Programs began as the American Ambulance Field Service, a volunteer ambulance corps created in April 1915 by A. Piatt Andrew. AFS was transformed from a wartime humanitarian aid organization into a groundbreaking international secondary school exchange, volunteer, and intercultural learning organization. https://www.afsusa.org/
