Celebrate Aldo Leopold Week with a conservation fair; booths will be hosted by local conservation organizations showcasing hands on activities, information on how to get involved, and more! Next, attend community reading of select essays from the conservation classic A Sand County Almanac (bring a copy if you have one!) followed by a public screening of the Emmy award-winning documentary film Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for our Time, which explores the life and legacy of Wisconsin conservationist Aldo Leopold. Coordinated in partnership with the Aldo Leopold Foundation.

Schedule is as follows:

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Conservation Fair
3:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Readings from A Sand County Almanac

3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Screening of Green Fire
